Harry Cooper
Group Analyst and Individual Psychodynamic Psychotherapist
UKCP
I am a Group Analyst and I offer psychodynamic psychotherapy to individuals and conduct psychotherapy groups. I have full clinical membership of UKCP. I qualified at the Institute of Group Analysis (IGA), London. I maintain membership of the IGA and of the Group Analytic Society International (GASi).

I work in the NHS and in private practice in the Brighton area. I have a number of years' experience in working as a psychotherapist in the NHS, working with groups and individuals. I have almost 20 years' experience working therapeutically with adolescents, both in care and education settings. I offer a confidential space where you can come and we can think together about your, thoughts, feelings, and experiences. This can lead to a deeper understanding of yourself and allow you to make beneficial changes to your life.

I have worked effectively with patients struggling with issues related to; anxiety, depression, addiction, difficult thoughts, identity issues, issues with relationships and managing emotions. The struggles that people come with are often been ones that they have been struggling with for some time and the therapy I offer can take time to see results.

I am passionate about access to psychotherapy and have some low fee places.

I also offer reflective practice to teams/organisations. I specialise in offering reflective practice to teams who work with clients with complex emotional needs; where teams are managing challenging situations and the resulting impact on professionals and team functioning. Though I would be happy to discuss requests from a wide range of organisations.
